Second Chance

Life isnt always as it is protrayed in the movies. 'Picture perfect' just doesnt cut it in the real world. In the real world, people are people. Being people, they make mistakes.

Mistakes, or rather decisions which seemed right then, often plague our lives. Some leave indelible marks on our lives as well as on the lives of people around us; some just gradually become less significant with the passing of time. Mistakes do not define us, rather it is how we pick ourselves up and learn from them that is definitive. Often, reprieve is earned through embracing the fact that you did something wrong the first time, but making sure you do it right the second.

Which brings me back to life and movies. A second shot at something is not uncommon in reel-life. You see it all the time. Rom-com couples getting back together after some plot-requisite tension/conflict. Heroes being revived from the dead via some magical spell. The list goes on. Hollywood has patented it's own model cliche of life.

But, what happens if you do get a second chance. Through divine intervention, your prayers are answered. You get a chance to make things right. A chance for happiness.

What would you do?

I know what i would do.

Grasp it and never let go.
