The Last Song
I felt that it was a slightly better book-to-screen adaptation than Dear John. The acting though... *shakes head*
From Wiki
"New interviews with Sparks, reveal he imagined Cyrus in the role "only a little" during the writing process. The completion of the screenplay, concerned Sparks that Cyrus would not be able to successfully execute the role: "The first thing I thought when I finished the screenplay was, wow, I hope she can do this, this is a tough role because I'm bringing you through a whole gamut of emotion and you're just a 16-year-old girl who's done the Disney Channel. Are you able to do this as an actress?"[27] However, after visiting the set and watching Cyrus film, Sparks' worries abated.[27]"
Nicholas Sparks should have trusted his first instincts.
Prior to the movie, i totally could not imagine Miley Cyrus as Ronnie (the lead character). After watching it, i still think it's an awful case of miscasting. She isnt that bad as an actress; i just felt that she didnt suit the role of Ronnie at all.
Who am i kidding? I dont know what im hoping for...
