Im heading off to Thailand in about 10 hours time. Much needed break; i realise it's actually the first decent holiday im going to have since time immemorial.
No ang-paos and poker games though, but i guess that's a small price to pay for quality time spent with my family. Not to mention retail therapy. :P
Incidentally, i think i should consider cutting down on my consumeristic tendencies. In the cd and dvd departments especially. Case in point: I was organising my entire movie collection a while ago, and the first thoughts that popped into my head were that (1)i could give any Video-Ezy store a run for their money (2)supply > demand (let's just say that at the rate im going, i wont be able to finish watching all my movies in this lifetime)
BUT...(and it's a really BIG 'but') consumerism helps drive the economy. *smug grin* See, I paid attention in econs (or at least i TRIED to).
Sooo.... in light of the hopes for economic upturn, i shall continue to do my part to boost the economy.
Scary how warped and self-delusional human beings can be at times yeah? :P
