It feels good to be back. Looking back, it wasnt such a bad trip after all. I sure did learn a lot.
There were moments when everything almost went south; but thankfully it didnt. I realise that just by simply standing by the sidelines and observing, there are many subtle nuances in the human condition that one can pick up on. For example, body language, tone of voice etc. This trip really opened my eyes to the dynamics of human interaction, albeit both positively and negatively. I must admit that even the most intransigent optimist will be filled with misanthropic sentiments, after witnessing the uglier side of human nature as i have.
But alas, it wasnt an entire failure sotospeak. I had fun with my coursemates, saw lots of kangaroos and emus in their natural habitat, slept in a tank and almost got dragged into a strip bar.
