Desperation Drives Us To Do Crazy Things...

As i speak, im bracing myself for a sleepless night. Come 11.30, i shall either be (a)watching a movie, (b)playing pool or (c)be at some irish pub watching soccer. Worst-case scenario: ill be sleeping at the Padang.

Never done something like this before, but there's always a first for everything. Plus this is the most viable (and fun) solution to my current, erm, "dilemma".

See, the problem is that ive got to attend the Army Half Marathon tomorrow. The crux of it lies in the horrendously irksome reporting time of 6am (i mean, SERIOUSLY, 6 AM!?!?!). My parents are overseas; and me, being the dreadfully dependent brat that i am, am afraid of oversleeping. The other equally bothersome issue at hand is the fact that i have no transportation there, save for public transport (of which i will definitely not make it on time).

Hence, the need to be somewhere near the Padang. As of now, the plan is to simply occupy ourselves till tomorrow morning. Im ruling out sleep, cause i certainly do not intend to wake up with all my belongings gone, stark-naked in the middle of some field.

Oh, did i mention that i just had a field camp and am really, really, really sleep-deprived?

:P

Ive got a feeling that the 10-km run is going to be a 10-km walk for me.
