To Lose With Honour
Lost to RJ 2-0 today.
Although on paper, its recorded as a loss, we fought valiantly. The odds were against us (afterall, they ARE the defending champions); however, we showed a fighting spirit which was previously lacking in our earlier games. Team spirit was also at an unprecedented high; i can safely say that we were all willing to die for one another on the pitch metaphorically and literally. From the start, we gave them something to think about. We conceded two soft goals, but still we played with all our hearts till the final whistle.
I hope that this new invigorated Team TJC can finally get some wins in our last 3 matches, and prove to the rest that we are no pushovers.
