Moon
As i was walking home after dance concert, i noticed that it was a full moon today.
Tonight's moon seemed to have an aura to it; it seemed to be giving off a rainbow shimmer and, against the backdrop of the night sky, it looked positively majestic. My phone's camera just doesnt do it justice.
Moonlight is often very haunting and gives one an imagery of inconcievable mystery. It can also be a source of emotional unpredictablity; Shakespeare has been known to refer to the moon as the ‘sovereign mistress of true melancholy’. To moon over someone means to yearn or pine for the person. Au fond, the moon exudes an unexplainable influence on one's mood and emotions.
As i sit here typing this, i have no idea why i am composing this post. Perhaps it is because i am rather 'emo' and feeling quite downcast now, even though i had a relatively enjoyable day. Until before it happened...
