Leap Year
Today's the 29th of Feb. I cant explain why; but i just have this inexplicable feeling that its a rather special day. I never used to notice it before; in fact i have never really noticed the past leap years until this year. Hmmm... maybe i should make the 29th of Feb my very own especial day of the year. Haha, i just feel that the fact that it comes every 4 years makes it very alluring and kind of cool. The natural order of things can be seen as being reversed; the date itself is an oddity of sorts. Therefore, things on this day can and should be quite unpredictable, which suits me just fine.
Anyway, yesterday was a super long day.. i had about 8 periods of lesson and ended school at 6.30pm. Went with py,ym,mich,sam to suntec for a career fair. We were quite late and thus only had about 15 min to walk through the various exhibits. There are like so many different career options, and now im not really sure what i want to do (journalism's still one of my choices though). Then, as we were going down the long escalator, py tried to kill himself, much to mich's felicity. :P He was trying to sit on the escalator belt, and then his bag dropped onto the escalator and started bouncing down the steps. We all broke out laughing.. serious laugh out loud moment man..
Today was a blur though. I was so tired that i was literally being a mindless drone during history lecture, struggling even to stay awake; nevermind absorbing the information. Came back home and slept for 5 hours straight.
Packed weekend ahead.. gotta go rest now..
Oh yeah, and the groupings for A Div are out. Same group as nj,ny,rj,ac,jj,sa,yj,tp,ij. Very interesting, considering that i ve got friends in like half of the other school teams.. and my two best friends will also be playing...
