Camaraderie
Main highlight of my day: celebrating Samuel's birthday.
After ages of not meeting up with Sam, Josh and the rest, today really felt somewhat liberating. Friends often drift apart as time goes by; but the bond which we all share seems to able to withstand this test. Having not seen nor spoken to most of them for more than half a year, you would expect conversations to be awkward and contrived. However, i still felt very comfortable being in their presence. The telepathic link-up play and chemistry which we once shared on the soccer court might be lacking slightly; but from a more general perspective, nothing has changed. We still clicked as well as we did back in our SJI days.
It's at times like this when i wish i was still a naive, immature schoolboy in SJI, playing soccer every day and just fooling around with my friends.
