I had no idea that ECP was just a 10 min run away from TJ. I reckon that's one of the perks of studying in the east. The beach/sea/park is ever so near. Having spent most of my life in the central part of Singapore, i guess this is a breath of fresh air. Ive actually been to ECP more times in the past year and a half, as compared to the other 16 years of my life as a city-dweller.
Had a good chat with him about life (YES, LIFE :P) while sitting on the breakwater. A good way to end the school week, in my opinion. Just sitting down, enjoying the warm rays of the sun, feeling the gentle breeze blowing in your hair, listening to the rhythmic swishing of the waves, and talking to a friend..
The past few weeks have been full of laughter and joy in school. Frantic studying and long school hours have been mentally and physically draining; but i never dread going to school (well most days, i DONT). Every day might be tiring, but friends make it bearable and even enjoyable.
Today is no different.
It's days like these which make you treasure your friends and classmates.
