Smile
Did you know that it takes more muscles to frown than it does to smile?
Hence, smiling is definitely less taxing and exhausting than frowning.
This tacitly implies that it is far easier to be cheerful than to be gloomy. Rather than being thunderclouds which bring dourness to people around us, we should all strive to keep a smile on our faces.
Smiling and laughter is highly contagious. For my classmates who do not believe me, try sitting next to ryan or daryl. :P
Smiling can make us feel happier. By smiling even if we do not feel like it, our mood will elevate despite ourselves. Though not a remedy for extreme cases of grief, it can serve to alleviate the sadness being experienced.
I shall try and live by this mentality from now on. Shouldnt be hard, since i have a really really low threshold of control when it comes to laughter.
So people, smile more!!! :D
P.S. I dont mean the Heath-Ledger-Joker smile... that would be seriously too deranged and creepy to be considered normal.
