Happenstance
Do i believe in the idea of soulmates?
"do you believe that there's such a thing as 'meant for each other'?" - Question posed by a friend of mine.
Firstly, i would like to declare that im definitely the wrong person to be asked this question. Im an idealist and a dreamer at times. My answer would be a resounding "YES".
However, evidently from past experiences, reality does not always conform to this. Well, i guess reality is just a tad too realistic. :P
In real life, happy endings do not always occur as in the movies. Choices, circumstances, and a whole gamut of other factors govern our lives. And sometimes, in fact most of the time, things just dont work out the ideal way that you want them to.
Alas, i want to believe, though, that if two people are really "meant for each other", then i guess serendipity will eventually catch up with them.
Tomorrow ought to be interesting...
